Acupuncture for Chronic Pain

Chronic pain can continue long after an injury has healed. It can be both physically and emotionally draining, and affect a person’s ability to work, sleep and socialise.

Studies show the effectiveness of Acupuncture in relieving symptoms of chronic pain and that the positive effects of Acupuncture can still be evident 12 months after treatment.

Acupuncture is a holistic system of healing based on Chinese Medicine theory. It focuses on restoring balance and facilitating the body’s natural healing responses. Studies show it can aid the release of the body’s natural painkillers and anti-inflammatory agents

I see alot of chronic pain cases in my practice. I find Acupuncture so effective when it comes to pain relief and management. I often combine it with other Chinese Medicine techniques including cupping, gua sha to aid circulation and muscle release.

You can find me in both Williamstown and Essendon. Click on the booking button below to book an appointment and for my clinic details.
